Addison to Participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

Addison is joining the nationwide effort to combat the drug overdose epidemic by participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. On Saturday, October 28 from 10am to 2pm, Addison residents can drop off their unneeded or expired medications at either the Addison Police Department or the Addison Athletic Club. The goal of this initiative is to encourage the public to safely dispose of medications to prevent medication misuse and opioid addiction.
