Addison Police Chief Announces Retirement

Addison Police Chief Paul Spencer announced his retirement this week after 28 years of service with Addison. Chief Spencer began his law enforcement career in Addison in 1995 as a rookie officer and rose through the ranks. He was appointed as Addison's Police Chief in January 2016.

We are grateful for the tremendous service Chief Spencer has given to the Town over his nearly 30-year tenure and wish him well in his retirement. His last day in Addison will be February 29.

City Manager David Gaines plans to engage a search firm to assist with the recruitment process for Chief Spencer's replacement.
