Mike Vincent Named Interim Police Chief

Police Chief Paul Spencer recently announced his retirement after nearly 30 years of service to Addison. City Manager David Gaines announced this week the appointment of Assistant Police Chief Mike Vincent to serve as Interim Police Chief while the Town conducts its search for Chief Spencer's replacement. Assistant Chief Vincent. who began his career in public safety in Addison 20 years ago, will assume the interim role effective March 1.

Addison has engaged a recruitment firm to assist with the Police Chief search. The five- to six-month process will include a national recruiting effort and an opportunity for public input on the final candidates.
