Addison Airport was honored to help send off Special Olympics athletes from across North Texas as they headed to Orlando, Florida for the Special Olympics USA Opening Ceremony on Saturday, June 4. Many thanks to all the volunteers who came out to line the red carpet with posters and cheer on the teams as they climbed aboard donated private aircraft flown by pilots volunteering their time. A special thank you to Addison resident and DJ "All Over Town" Chris Brown for donating his time to spin tunes for the crowd. Hats off to Million Air Dallas not only for hosting the event, but also for donating the fuel for the planes that left from Addison Airport.
