Council Approves Third Change Order for Customs Facility at Addison Airport

On August 27, 2019, the Addison City Council approved a contract with JC Commercial, Inc. for the construction of the U.S Customs and Border Protection and Airport Administration facility at Addison Airport in the amount of $6,223,949. At its October 13 meeting, Council approved a third project change order in the amount of $17,275.41 for drywall revisions, landscape and irrigation changes, and an allowance for equipment rental extensions, among other items.
 
The three change orders have increased the project cost to $6,405,347.67, which is still within the budget for the project, and extended the contract completion date to February 13, 2021.
