Galaxy Celebrates Grand Opening

Addison Airport's third fixed base operation, Galaxy FBO, began operations in its new facility on Addison Road across from Addison Circle Park in November. On Wednesday, April 5, it celebrated its new location with a Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony. Mayor Joe Chow, Mayor Pro Tempore Kathryn Wheeler, and Council Members Darren Gardner, Eileen Resnik, and Guillermo Quintanilla joined Town and Chamber staff in welcoming Galaxy to Addison.

Galaxy's new home features a single-story, 13,000-square-foot terminal with passenger lounge, crew lounge with snooze room and showers, six-seat and 12-seat conference rooms, vehicle garage, crew car, and on-site car rental, plus 109,000 square feet of hangar space. Its office space is 100% leased already and hangar space is almost 100% leased.
