Sky Harbour Officially Breaks Ground on Six-Acre Site at Addison Airport

On Friday, October 27, Sky Harbour held a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of the former Addison Airport jetport at 4505 Claire Chennault Drive. The New York-based business was selected to redevelop a 6-acre site located on Chennault Drive. They plan to construct a total of six private jet hangars totaling 101,000 square feet dedicated to serving high-end business aviation users including corporate and private flight departments. The estimated construction value of the building improvements exceeds $15 million.

Mayor Bruce Arfsten was joined by Deputy Mayor Pro Tempore Guillermo Quintanilla, and Council Members Nancy Craig and Marlin Willesen to officially welcome the new company to Addison.
