U.S. Customs and Border Protection Facility Breaks Ground

Addison Airport Groundbreaking

Addison Airport held an official groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, October 15 for the new U.S. Customs and Border Protection Facility (CBP) and airport offices at 4553 Jimmy Doolittle Drive. Mayor Joe Chow, Mayor Pro Tempore Tom Braun, Deputy Mayor Pro Tempore Lori Ward, and Council Members Ivan Hughes, Guillermo Quintanilla, and Marlin Willesen joined City Manager Wes Pierson and representatives from Customs and Border Protection, Page Southerland Page Inc., JC Commercial Inc., and Garver Engineering at the new CBP facility which is scheduled to open in early 2021.
