Judge Johnson Appointed and Judge Dwight and Callaway Reappointed as Municipal Judges

Addison Judges Dwight, Johnson and Callaway being sworn in by Mayor Joe Chow

At its October 25 meeting, the City Council reappointed Judge Larry Dwight as the Presiding Municipal Judge and Judge Cass Callaway and Judge George "Buck" Johnson as Alternate Municipal Judges. Addison's Municipal judges are appointed to two-year terms and the current term for Judges Dwight and Callaway expires on December 31, 2022.  Judge Johnson was appointed as Alternate Municipal Court Judge with an initial term beginning immediately and continuing through December 31, 2022. Judge Johnson will be completing the 2020-2022 term of Judge Danielle Dulaney who has accepted a full-time role in another city. 

Judge Larry Dwight has served as a Municipal Court Judge for the past thirty-six years, specifically serving as a Presiding Judge for the last 16 terms. This will be Judge Callaway's second term. Thank you to Judge Dwight, Judge Callaway, and Judge Johnson for their service to the Addison community.
