Taste on the Tarmac Raises $5,000 for Metrocrest Services

On Tuesday, May 14, the Ranchview High School culinary program, winners of Taste on the Tarmac, served their award-winning dish, Southwestern Empanadas, to shoppers at the Metrocrest Services Food Pantry.

Taste on the Tarmac officially kicked off the Taste Addison season on Friday, April 26, at Galaxy FBO. Sponsored by Oncor, the elevated tasting experience brought together the private, public, and non-profit sectors to provide a platform for future culinary and hospitality professionals and raised $5,000 for Metrocrest Services' Sack Summer Hunger Program.
