Ever heard the spicy tale of how the Margarita came to life in the great state of Texas? Picture this: Pancho Morales, a Texan with a knack for mixology, made history in El Paso. It was the Fourth of July, and a lady asked for a Magnolia, but Pancho had no time for that. Instead, he whipped up a concoction of Cointreau, lime, and tequila and named it the Margarita, which, in Spanish, means 'daisy.' Fast forward to a bar in East Dallas, the frozen margarita was born! Whether shaken or stirred, blended or on the rocks, the margarita has evolved into a symbol of joy, relaxation, and social gatherings. So, join us as we raise a toast this February 22 to National Margarita Day — where every sip is a nod to Texan tradition and a celebration of the good times!
