Council Adopts Fiscal Year 2022 Strategic Pillars and Milestones

Since 2016, the City Council has participated in an annual strategic planning special work session on strategic planning facilitated by Strategic Government Resources (SGR). At the strategic planning session held on June 16, 2021, Council reviewed and updated the Strategic Pillars from Fiscal Year 2021. The only change made to the Strategic Pillars for Fiscal Year 2022 was that Entrepreneurship and Business Hub was changed to Innovative in Entrepreneurship and Business. 
The Strategic Pillars for Fiscal Year 2022 are:

Innovative in Entrepreneurship and Business
Excellence is Asset Management
Excellence in Transportation Systems
Gold Standard in Customer Service
Gold Standard in Financial Health
Gold Standard in Public Safety
Optimize Addison Brand

Council also identified 10 priority Milestones that indicate progress toward achieving these Strategic Pillars for the next Fiscal Year. The Council formally adopted these Pillars and Milestones at its July 13 meeting.
