The City of Farmers Branch discussed at its May 7, 2019 City Council Study Session their Council’s desire to open a dialogue between the City of Farmers Branch and the Town of Addison to consider opportunities between the two communities for shared services (i.e. sharing of library services, senior center services, etc.) and potential infrastructure projects that would benefit community stakeholders in both communities (like the potential extension of Bella Lane from the Vitruvian area to Alpha Road).

At its May 14 meeting, the Addison City Council appointed Mayor Joe Chow, Mayor Pro Tempore Tom Braun, and Deputy Mayor Pro Tempore Lori Ward to serve on an Ad Hoc Sub-Committee to discuss these types of opportunities with Farmers Branch.
