Council Approves Recognition for Whitehead and Moran

At its Work Session on November 21, Council discussed several options to recognize and honor the service of former City Manager Ron Whitehead and former Director of Development Services Carmen Moran. At its December 10 meeting, Council adopted a resolution to dedicate the Addison Circle Plaza to Mr. Whitehead and rename the Vitruvian Park amphitheater in honor of Mrs. Moran. 

Staff will gather costs for producing and installing the plaques at each location to share with Council at a future meeting. Council expressed their intention to ask for private funding for these projects.
