Council Canvasses May Election Results and Swears In Newly Elected Members

At its May 16 meeting, the Addison City Council canvassed the results from the May 7 election. Mayor Pro Tempore Guillermo Quintanilla was re-elected for an additional two-year term. Council Member Paul Walden was not eligible to run again due to term limits and Council Member Marlin Willesen chose not to run again. Darren Gardner and Eileen Resnik were elected to fill those vacancies.

Also during the meeting, the Council selected Kathryn Wheeler to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore and Lori Ward to serve as Deputy Mayor Pro Tempore. You can watch that Council discussion here.
