Council Makes Liaison Appointments

After the May election, Council Members have historically selected liaison positions that are intended to provide a greater depth of understanding about the technical nature of certain community features, issues, or programs such as the Airport, Economic Development, or the Addison Arbor Foundation. Once assigned, liaisons report back to the City Council with status reports regarding various projects and initiatives. At its June 9 meeting, most Council members opted to maintain their previous liaison positions. Council Member Willisen replaced Paul Walden on the Airport Board, joined Council Member Braun as an Education Liaison and volunteered to be serve in the newly created Outcry Theatre liaison post.
