Re-elected Council Members Sworn In and Mayor/Deputy Mayor Pro Tempore Appointed

City Council Members Guillermo Quintanilla, Paul Walden, and Marlin Willesen were unopposed for the May 2, 2020 election. At the February 25, 2020 Council Meeting, the City Council officially declared the unopposed candidates elected to office. At the May 12 City Council Meeting, Mayor Joe Chow administered the oath of office to the three incumbents at the beginning of the meeting.

Also during the meeting, the Council selected Lori Ward to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore and Guillermo Quintanilla to serve as Deputy Mayor Pro Tempore.
