Fallen tree with split branches

Addison crews have been out and about this morning clearing debris. Their first priority is making sure roads and city facilities are accessible. They have started work on the east side of town because it was the hardest hit by the storm. Crews will be working their way through town helping to clear roads, sidewalks, driveways, and alleys. Unfortunately, they can’t come on to private property so residents are responsible for tree damage in their yards. If you have property damage from one of Addison’s trees that cannot be seen from the street (in your backyard), please contact us at 972-450-2851. We are doing our best to triage requests based on safety and damage to homes and will begin hauling off debris when these other priorities have been addressed. We ask your patience as our crews work to deal with the most serious issues first. We also ask that you please be careful – there are a lot of damaged trees and we don’t want our residents being injured by falling branches.
