Economic Development Team Visits StoneCoat

On Tuesday, July 30, Mayor Joe Chow, Deputy Mayor Pro Tempore Lori Ward, Deputy City Manager John Crawford, Addison Economic Development and Tourism Director Orlando Campos, and Addison Economic Development Manager Wilson Kerr met with Ken Morrison, the Founder and CEO of StoneCoat. StoneCoat is disrupting the building resurfacing industry by providing “blown stone” limestone, also known as hydraulic limestone, that has the same texture and geological rating as cut and quarried limestone. Since it is applied in a semi-liquid form, the hydraulic limestone does not set immediately when applied, allowing the applicators to carve and texturize the wall to suit the specific vision of their customers. StoneCoat is a rapidly growing company that now has offices throughout the United States, as well as Dubai, Canada, Egypt, Ukraine, and India.
