Economic Development Visits Make-a-Wish North Texas

On Tuesday, March 9, a team from Addison including Mayor Pro Tempore Guillermo Quintanilla, Economic Development and Tourism Director Orlando Campos, and Economic Development Manager Wilson Kerr paid a visit to Make-A-Wish North Texas’ headquarters in Addison. Make-A-Wish Interim CEO Charlotte Beatie, COO Michael Smith, and CFO Belinda Marshall gave the Addison team a tour of their facility and discussed ways that Addison can help the organization continue to change lives. Make-A-Wish North Texas is a nonprofit organization with the mission of “granting wishes” for children with critical illnesses. With over 12,000 wishes granted in the 161 Texas Counties that they serve, Make-A-Wish North Texas is truly changing lives on a daily basis. We are proud that Make-A-Wish North Texas calls Addison home and we are excited to see them continue their important work.
