HED Visit

As part of Addison’s business retention and expansion efforts, Mayor Joe Chow helped lead a visit to HED Design offices. HED is an architecture and engineering firm based in Michigan with regional offices in Addison. Formerly known as VAI Architects, the company merged with HED this past year and is expanding its operations in the community. Mayor Chow was joined by Interim City Manager Hamid Khaleghipour and Economic Development & Tourism Director Orlando Campos.

The company is located at The Spectrum office building at 15301 Spectrum Drive and has been a corporate resident for many years. Mayor Chow and the Addison staff met with Managing Principal William Vidaud, Market Sector Leadership Principal Barton Drake, and Business Development Associate Barbara Crittenden to learn more about their operations, to provide the company with an update on new developments in Addison, and to provide our support. Mayor Chow expressed his appreciation for the company’s continued investment and growth in Addison. They voiced their appreciation and shared how much they love the Addison community.
