International Women's Day

On Wednesday, March 4, the Addison Economic Development & Tourism Department teamed up with PennMutual Wealth Strategies to host an International Women’s Day Event. Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce President Erin Carney hosted a panel that included Thomson Reuters Director of Community Relations Gabe Madison, Veteran Women’s Enterprise Center Executive Director VR Small, and Plano City Council Woman Maria Tu. Nearly 40 people were in attendance to hear the panelists discuss empowering women in the workplace, while enjoying food provided by Ida Claire. Addison hopes to partner with PennMutual and host more events like this in the future.
