The Urban Land Institute (ULI) hosted its national fall meeting at the Kay Baily Hutchinson Convention Center this week. As part of the conference, Addison’s Development Services, Economic Development, and City Manager’s Departments hosted close to 60 members of the ULI Product Council on a tour of Addison Circle Park and the future Transit Oriented Development. The Product Council plays a key role in ULI’s mission to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide through the exchange of information and the sharing of best practices. Aside from the tour, participants learned more how private/public partnerships can catalyze visionary developments. Addison Circle has long been known as a national beacon for inspiring urban mixed-use developments throughout the country, and a transformative development that helped shape Addison to what it is now.
