On Thursday, February 22 Addison announced its year-end awards at its quarterly employee luncheon. Employees were recognized by their peers based on the Town's BRAVE organizational values: AccountaBility | Responsiveness | InnovAtion | SerVice | IntEgrity.

  • AccountaBility Award – Will Gilleland, Traffic Signal Supervisor 
  • Responsiveness Award – Cassidy Jones, Talent Acquisition Partner 
  • InnovAtion Award – Shane Anderson, Police Lieutenant
  • SerVice Award – Jose Miranda, Utility Billing Supervisor 
  • IntEgrity Award – Aaron McLendon, Senior Building Inspector 
  • Hero Award – Lauren Ash & Jessie Chambers, Police Officers
  • Department of the Year – Information Technology 
  • Employee of the Year – Lesley Nyp, Planning & Development Manager

Finally, City Manager David Gaines recognized Police Chief Paul Spencer's retirement after 28 years of service.
