Council Gets Update on Addison FixIT App

In December 2019, Addison transitioned to a new Addison FixIT app to better serve the community. The FixIT app, which is available for Android and IOS users, allows posters to report problems around Town, but also offers opportunities for citizen engagement. At the October 27 Council meeting, staff shared that the app has been downloaded 386 times and has been used to report more than 600 requests. Nearly 50% of all service requests are parks related, 21% are code enforcement related, and 10% are streets related. They also gave a live demonstration of how to use the app.
