Addison Adopts Policy for Managing Data Collected by License Plate Recognition and Optical Camera Technologies

At the January 8 meeting, Council adopted a policy for managing data collected by license plate recognition and optical camera technologies. At the December 11 Council work session, Police Chief Paul Spencer had shared the guiding principles developed to govern the use of the data derived as part of a new pilot program that will begin this spring.
