Addison Arbor Foundation Announces Name of New Sculpture on Beltway Drive: Acadia

On Wednesday, December 19, the Addison Arbor Foundation announced the name of artist Eliseo’s monumental art work on Beltway Drive: Arcadia.  The name Arcadia reflects a vision of pastoralism, beautiful scenery, and harmony with nature which Eliseo captured with his sculpture. The term refers to a sparsely populated Greek province associated with natural beauty of mountains, green spaces, and unspoiled wilderness. Eliseo was onsite with representatives from the Addison Arbor Foundation, Ultimate Ventures, the Hampton Inn and the Town of Addison to put his signature on the sculpture. Ultimate Ventures, a corporate meeting and event planning company located on Beltway Drive, is one of the donors for Arcadia. The Hampton Inn provided an easement to the Town of Addison for the sculpture.
