Addison Fire Department Has Push-In Ceremony for New Engine and Squad Truck

The Addison Fire Department hosted a "Push-In Ceremony" on Tuesday, May 7 at Fire Station 1 to commemorate the arrival of a new engine and a new squad truck. Back in the horse-drawn carriage days, firefighters had to wash their trucks and actually push them into the station. This time-honored tradition is still recognized today as a way to debut new vehicles.
