Members of Addison's Utility Division receiving recognition at the February 20, 2019 City Council Meeting

Every two to three years, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) inspects Addison's water system to ensure that it remains compliant with Federal and State laws. TCEQ reviews all of the utility system’s records, documents, and plans, and also goes out into the field to inspect our infrastructure. TCEQ recently completed Addison's inspection and, once again, designated the Town’s water system as superior. The superior rating means that the Town goes above and beyond the minimum requirements to provide a superior water product to the Town’s residents, businesses, and guests. Of the over 7000 public water systems in Texas, only 13% achieve superior water status.

Addison's utility division is staffed by a small group of very dedicated individuals who take great pride in providing exceptional service to the Town. At the February 20 meeting, the City Council recognized their hard work and thanked them for all that they do.
