The Fiscal Year 2018 budget included funds to prepare a city-wide Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan. Between February and October of 2018, Addison's consultant, Moore, Iacofano, and Goltsman, Inc. (MIG), held numerous meetings with the Council-appointed Special Project Committee and staff and gathered public input to assess the community's Parks, Recreation, and Open Space needs. That draft report was made available to the community for review in January 2019. The City Council reviewed the report and gave their feedback at its February 20 Meeting. Council will consider action on the final plan at a future meeting.
