Life Warmer

On Thursday, February 7, Mayor Joe Chow, Director of Economic Development and Tourism Orlando Campos, and Economic Development Manager Wilson Kerr visited with Life Warmer's executive team: CEO Rick Thomson, CFO Bob Schnitzius, and Project Engineering Manager Shant Aghyarian. Life Warmer's ultimate goal is to identify and fill the gaps between the delivery and treatment of trauma, surgical, and critical care patients, particularly military patients. Through a co-development contract with the Department of Defense, Life Warmer has developed a lightweight fluid and blood warmer designed to be used by military medics in the field. Their fluid warmer decreases complications during in-field blood transfusions and saves soldiers' lives. Addison is proud to have Life Warmer as a part of the business community.
