Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan is Available for Community Review

The draft report of the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan is now available for community review and comment. You can view the report and the appendix below. 

The Master Plan will serve as a tool that will guide staff in addressing the park and recreational needs of Addison in future years. We encourage you to read the report, along with the associated appendix, and invite you to provide feedback by February 1.  Comments can be provided by e-mailing or calling Director of Parks and Recreation Janna Tidwell at jtidwell@addisontx.gov or 972-450-2869. 

Thank you to all the residents who took time to participate in the surveys that we conducted. The information you provided set the framework upon which this plan was developed.

The Master Plan consultant will present the plan to Council for discussion during a work session on February 20. We invite you to attend.
