Council Adopts Belt Line 1.5 Beautification Master Plan

On October 23, 2018, Pachecho Koch presented a draft of the Belt Line 1.5 Beautification Master Plan to the City Council. The Consultant made the modifications requested by Council and presented the revised draft plan for public input at the Town meeting on October 29, 2018.  

Staff began meeting with property owners along the Belt Line Road corridor in December 2018 and received favorable feedback about the plan.  During its February 20 meeting, the City Council held a public hearing and adopted the Belt Line 1.5 Beautification Master Plan. Following the adoption of the plan, Director of Parks and Recreation Janna Tidwell presented the pricing and scope for the implementation of the project. Council gave staff direction to include all six bus shelter areas specified for the project as part of Phase 1.
