Addison Fire Department Welcomes New Deputy Chief

Deputy Fire Chief CJ Alexander

After a competitive interview process, Fire Chief David Jones selected CJ Alexander to serve as Addison's next Deputy Fire Chief. CJ replaces Mike Thomson, who is the new Highland Village Fire Chief.

Deputy Chief Alexander comes to Addison from Farmers Branch and has 17 years in the fire service. Not only is he a certified Master Firefighter, Fire Officer IV, Master Fire Instructor III, Driver Operator, Driver Operator-Aerial, Incident Safety Officer, Hazardous Materials Incident Commander and Hazardous Materials Technician, but he is also a certified Paramedic and an EMS instructor through Texas Department of State Health Services. Deputy Chief Alexander lives in Prosper with his wife of 14 years and their four children.
