Council Selects Liaison Positions

After the May election, Council Members have historically selected liaison positions that are intended to provide a greater depth of understanding about the technical nature of certain community features, issues, or programs such as the Airport, Economic Development, or the Addison Arbor Foundation. Once assigned, liaisons report back to the City Council with status reports regarding various projects and initiatives. At its May 28 meeting, Council decided that they would all continue with their current liaison positions. Deputy Mayor Pro Tempore Lori Ward asked to serve as a liaison to the World Affairs Council in addition to her other responsibilities and Council Member Guillermo Quintanilla was added as a back up to the Greater Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce.
