Lori Ward Elected 2nd VP of Texas Association of Mayors, Councilmembers and Commissioners

Addison Deputy Mayor Pro Tempore Lori Ward was elected second vice president of the Texas Association of Mayors, Councilmembers, and Commissioners (TAMCC) at a recent meeting of elected officials at the Texas Municipal League (TML) 2019 Annual Conference.

TML serves more than 1,160 towns and cities throughout Texas. TML’s mission is to empower Texas cities to serve citizens. To that end, the organization, formed in 1913, has committed to serve the needs and advocate the interests of its members. TML offers legal guidance and information on municipal issues, representation for cities on state and federal legislation, training, and other resources.

TAMCC, a TML affiliate organization, exists to promote the proficiency of elected city officials and foster the cause of good and efficient municipal government in Texas.
