Council Adopts Fiscal Year 2021 Strategic Pillars and Milestones

Since 2016, the City Council has participated in an annual special work session on strategic planning facilitated by Strategic Government Resources (SGR). At the strategic planning session held on June 15, 2020, Council reviewed and reaffirmed the Strategic Pillars for Fiscal Year 2021. These are:

• Entrepreneurship and Business Hub
• Excellence in Asset Management
• Excellence in Transportation Systems
• Gold Standard in Customer Service
• Gold Standard in Financial Health
• Gold Standard in Public Safety
• Optimize Addison Brand

Council also identified Milestones that indicate progress toward achieving these Strategic Pillars and selected 10 priority Milestones for Fiscal Year 2021. The Council formally adopted these Pillars and Milestones at its July 14 meeting.
