Addison Collecting Donations for George Bush Elementary School Store

The Town of Addison is collecting new and gently used games, toys, and coloring supplies (see list below) for the George Bush Elementary school store at the event. Students earn "Bush" bucks for good behavior and get to redeem them in the student-run Patriot Galleria. This video of some of the student ambassadors gives more background on the project.

Below is a list of the most requested items from their students. 

  • Games (Checkers, Uno, Connect 4, etc.)
  • Puzzles
  • Playdough, Kinetic Sand, Clay
  • Craft kits (rock painting, friendship bracelets, etc.)
  • Art supplies (crayons, paints, etc)
  • Coloring books
  • Toys (action figures, cars, dolls)
  • Outdoor toys (basketballs, soccer balls, jump ropes)
  • Any Science or STEM kits
  • Plushies (any stuffed animal or character)
  • Small items-key chains, pencils, stickers, mini hand sanitizers, bracelets, etc.

Donations can be dropped off at Town Hall or either Fire Station through April 15.
