Changes to May Council Meetings

According to Addison's Charter, "returns of all municipal elections shall be made by the election officers to the Council at the first City Council meeting following the election, which shall be the meeting to canvas the election and declare the results in accordance with state law."

Since Addison typically receives the canvassing results from Dallas County within 10 days of an election, Council has postponed its May 10 meeting until May 16. This date is subject to change if results are not received prior to the May 16 meeting. Addison posts agendas on the Town's website three days prior to a meeting.
