This project will implement elements of the Town’s Transportation Master Plan on Belt Line Road from Marsh Lane to Midway Road. The project includes the installation of a new gateway entrance sign, enhanced bus shelters and benches, bike racks, trash cans, receptacles, decorative pavers, median enhancements, retaining walls, planters, and the installation of sidewalks to fill in existing gaps.

The base bid portion of the project is complete, excluding the intersection of Midway and Belt Line Rd. Delivery of paving and wall materials for this area have been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and are anticipated to arrive the week of 11/23. As soon as the materials are delivered they will be installed and the work will be inspected by Town staff.
An alternate bid area, in front of 3820 Belt Line Rd, was recently approved for construction and earthwork has been completed. This portion of the project will implement the master transportation plan and will include stone retaining walls, a bus stop and landscaping. Concrete forming is currently underway and should be completed by 11/26. This portion of the construction is scheduled to be complete by 12/2 at which time staff will conduct an inspection of the work and provide the contractor with a list of items to address in order to achieve project close out.
