This project was brought up due to resident concerns about safety and adequate lighting in the area between Montfort Drive and Celestial Park. This project was then budgeted in the 2021 budget.
Status Updates
January 3, 2022:
All streetlights have been installed and the project is complete.
September 27, 2021:
Oncor Electrical and the Town's contractor are beginning the installation of the piers and conduit for the street lights.
March 16, 2021:
Oncor has began the preliminary design of the street lights.
January 19, 2021:
Town staff met on-site with Oncor Electrical to discuss project scope and lighting.
July 27, 2021:
Construction is anticipated to begin by mid-August.
