City Council Election Deadline Closes

Friday, February 16 was the last day to file for the May City Council Election. The candidates are:

  • Chris DeFrancisco
  • Howard Freed
  • Darren Gardner

Since there are only three available City Council positions and three candidates who have filed, the Council will consider issuing a "Certificate of Unopposed Status" during an upcoming meeting. This formal measure would cancel the May election and officially declare the candidates as "elected."

The new council members will officially be sworn in on May 15 and their first official City Council Meeting will be on Tuesday, May 26.
