Council Appoints Valencia Garcia as Addison's New City Secretary

Valencia Garcia, who has been serving as Interim City Secretary since January 9 following Irma Parker's retirement, was officially appointed to the role by the City Council on June 25. Garcia joined the Town in March 2023 as the Assistant to the City Manager. She brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her new position. Garcia previously served as Performance & Management Administrator at the City of Corpus Christi for a year and a half, as Assistant to the Public Works Director at the City of Southlake, Texas for three years, and as Management Assistant at the City of Sugar Land, Texas for two years.
