The application process is now open for Citizens Academy 2020! The Citizens Academy is a three-day instructional program designed to provide residents of Addison with a strong working knowledge of municipal operations for the Town. The program consists of three Saturday sessions covering a variety of civic and local government topics, including City Council Roles and Responsibilities, Finance, Economic Development & Tourism, Development, and Public Safety. This year’s academy will be held on the following dates:

  • Friday, June 5: Kick-Off Dinner (6:30pm-8pm)
  • Saturday, June 6: Session I (8am-5pm)
  • Saturday, June 13: Session II (8am-5pm)
  • Saturday, June 20: Session III (8am-5pm)
  • Tuesday, June 23: Graduation (6pm-8pm)
