AFD Uses Grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation for Fire Hoses

The Addison Fire Department recently received a $24,393 grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation! The Department, which takes great pride in providing lifesaving support to the community, used these funds to purchase fire hoses.  A portion of purchases at all U.S. Firehouse Subs locations goes to its Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, to be used to provide lifesaving equipment to first responders.  They accept 600 grant applications quarterly and AFD was honored to be included in their last funding round. Since the Foundation started, it has granted over $55 million to provide equipment, training, and support to hometown heroes.
