Western Extrusion, a Carrollton-based manufacturing company, donated $17,000 to the North Texas Emergency Communications Center (NTECC) to allow for the purchase and implementation of PulsePoint software for the Metrocrest Quad Cities. NTECC is the joint public safety dispatch center that supports Addison, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, and Coppell. The software empowers CPR-trained citizens to provide life-saving assistance to victims of sudden cardiac arrest. For more information on PulsePoint, visit pulsepoint.org.
