Addison Continues to Provide Services Virtually

• The Town will begin responding to Open Records Requests on May 12, 2020.  

• Customers may deposit payments in the mail slot of the front door, but in-person payments will not be allowed.
• Residents can also pay utility bills online at AddisonUBPay.com by credit card or set up your account on auto-draft. If you have any questions, please contact the Utility Billing Department at 972-450-7081.

Building Inspections:

All Certificates of Occupancy, Clean and Show, Sign Permits, and Commercial and Residential single trade permits will be available through the Citizen Self Service (CSS) Online Portal.

To apply for these permits, please create an account on the Town of Addison Citizen Self Service Online Portal. After registering you will be able to apply for all available permits through this portal. Additional instructions are available HERE. 

Building Inspections can be requested through the CSS portal for permits applied for online. You can still also schedule an inspection by emailing inspections@addisontx.gov or calling 972-450-2885. Be sure to include: the last 5 digits of the permit number, street address (including the suite number if applicable), type of inspection, and your contact information. Please keep in mind that all inspection requests made after 8:30 am will be completed the following day.

If you are applying for building permits not available through the CSS Portal (such as new construction, tenant finish out and remodel, roof permits, irrigation permits, etc.) please visit the Development Services Forms and Applications page for all available applications, complete the desired application, and email it, along with ALL required plans and documents, to registrations@addisontx.gov. If your files are too large to share by email (up to 1GB), please upload to https://send.firefox.com (do not use Internet Explorer) and share the generated link in your email. Note that when the recipient downloads the file, it will be deleted.

Environmental Health:

Please note that Special Event Permits and Temporary Food Licenses will not be accepted until further notice.

If you are applying for any licenses or registrations such as Food Service License, Pool Registration, Apartment Complex Registration, Liquid Waste Hauler Permit, or Mobile Food Service License, please visit the Development Services Environmental Health page for all available applications, complete the desired application, and email it, along with ALL required plans and documents, to envhealth@addisontx.gov. If your files are too large to share by email (up to 1GB), please upload to https://send.firefox.com (do not use Internet Explorer) and share the generated link in your email. Note that when the recipient downloads the file, it will be deleted.

Zoning Requests and Civil Construction Reviews:

All zoning requests such as Zoning Change Application, Special Use Permit Request, Zoning Verification Request, and Administrative Zoning Reviews, as well as full Civil Construction Review Applications, are available through the Citizen Self Service (CSS) Online Portal. 

To apply for these applications, please create an account on the Town of Addison Citizen Self Service Online Portal. After registering you will be able to apply for all available permits through this portal. Additional instructions are available HERE.

If you are unable to utilize the CSS Portal, please visit the Development Services - Development Application Information page, complete the Application Form, and email it, along with ALL required plans and documents, to development@addisontx.gov. If your files are too large to share by email (up to 1GB), please upload to https://send.firefox.com (do not use Internet Explorer) and share the generated link in your email. Note that when the recipient downloads the file, it will be deleted.

Making Payments:

Credit Card payments will now be accepted through the online CSS Portal. Once an account is created, you can log into your Citizen Self Service Online Portal and select Pay Invoice. If you applied for the permit or plan online, you will see your outstanding invoice. If you applied by email, an invoice number will be provided for you. You will be able to login and enter the invoice number.

If you would like to pay by check, please make checks payable to Town of Addison and mail them to Town of Addison - Development Services, 16801 Westgrove Drive, Addison TX 75001.
