Purchase Crash Reports Online
A copy of an accident report is available for a $6.00 fee through the Texas Department of Transportation website:

This website is only for accident reports. Public copies of all other reports must be requested in-person or via mail.

Reports may be purchased at the Records window located on the first floor of the Addison Police Department.

Purchase Reports via Mail
To request a public copy of a report, write a letter and include the following information:
- Name of complainant, victim, or driver
- Date of incident
- Location or address of incident
- Your return address and phone number
When requesting by mail include a check or money order payable to the Town of Addison. DO NOT SEND CASH. Mail a request to:
