Join us for a Traditional "Push-In Ceremony" for our New Fire Apparatus

The Addison Fire Department is hosting a "Push-In Ceremony" at 4pm on May 7 at Fire Station 1 to commemorate the arrival of a new engine and a new squad truck. Back in the horse-drawn carriage days, firefighters had to wash their trucks and actually push them into the station. This time-honored tradition is still recognized today as a way to debut new vehicles.
