Artist Scott Shubin to be Featured Speaker at Addison Arbor Foundation Education Event

On Saturday, November 16, Dallas artist Scott Shubin will be the featured speaker at the Addison Arbor Foundation's Education Event: The Evolution of the Addison Public Art Collection. The event will be held from 10am - 11:30am in the "Maker's Space" at the new AMLI Addison on Quorum Drive. Scott will talk about his creations and inspirations in metals and other media. In addition to his work on The Givers, which was recently installed at the southwest corner of AMLI Addison, Scott is the artist for a second work of public art called Spectra which will be installed at AMLI Addison soon. Addison Director of Parks and Recreation Janna Tidwell will speak about plans and priorities for public art in Addison.

The education event is free, but registration is required. It will be followed by the official ribbon cutting for The Givers at noon.
